Demo Series Vol 1 - Sequential Dreams
Welcome to the Borders Edge Music Demo Series!
Available only to Borders Edge Music subscribers (and occasional special offers) this series presents artist tracks from published albums, but in versions that never saw the light of day. These are the working demo versions, or a slice in time before they were polished off to create the final product. This series are for listeners interested in completing their collection and/or are interested in discovering artists’ working process.
The first album in the Demo Series is titled “BEM Demo Series Vol 1 - Sequential Dreams” and features working demo selections from the Sequential Dreams project, with tracks from the Legends (2016), and The Exodus Wave (2017) albums.
For listeners who are new to Sequential Dreams, this is a project founded by Borders Edge Music and Sequential Dreams founding member Ron Charron (a.k.a.: Kuutana). Over the course of the last several albums, the Sequential Dreams project has had a dozen featured artists over the years. The album development process usually starts off with one project member contributing a track, to which invited featured artist(s) contribute layers. These additional instrumental layers and then mixed into the base track to create a new finished product. Sometimes, pretty significant rearranging can take place and the track can take a distinct flavour of its own. The Demo Series gives the listener an opportunity to explore significantly different versions of the original ideas behind the tracks.
