The Berlin School of Electronic Music is a more recently named type of music though it's foundations lie in the early years of electronic music, at a time where synthesizers were only starting to touch the ears of unsuspecting listeners! Notable artists include the much celebrated band Tangerine Dream, which helped to launch this new genre. "A Touch of Berlin" Volume 1, is Borders Edge Music's tribute to this genre, featuring tracks from BEM artists, which can be said have been strongly influenced by the Berlin School EM genre.
